LEAF MODEL

The LEAF for lifeTM Nomad Shadow SUN LEAF grants you a maximum of shade due to its dimensions and its off-centered pole.
Perfect aerodynamics thanks to its shape and its off centered pole; the portance effect is reduced and the ground fixing is strengthened.

As flexible as a reed,the LEAF for lifeTM Nomad Shadow Leaf absorbs the wind strength without any resistance,thus diminishing the risks of being torn out of the ground. No more flying parasols on the beach this summer!

We tested the Leaf in extreme windy situation in order to ensure its resistance qualities against turn out of the ground and breakdown.

No sharp angles around the leaf in order to avoid any accident for your kids or other people on the beach. Safety is one of our priorities.

Because protecting correctly your kids and family is one of our ambition, we have chosen high density fabrics for the LEAF for lifeTM shadow leaf. Two treatments have been processed on the lower side of each leaf in order to ensure a REAL protection against the sun.

    Can I take my Leaf by plane?

    Your Leaf can follow you everywhere. Your Leaf in his bag, you can go to security check. Your Leaf can be packaged and easily lodged in the luggage compartment above your seat. You can also put your sheet in your suitcase without any problem (your sheet must be equal to a size of 50 cm or even less, your sheet). ). You are now ready to travel the world and from the journey with your LEAF at the end of the world!

    How much wind can I use my Leaf?

    You can use your Leaf even in strong winds. You will have to make sure to position the first disc of the frame of the sail very parallel to the wind so that the sail is stretched and is placed flat in the direction of the wind. In this way, your sail, with constant wind, will not suffer the effects of the wind and will not fly; it's one of its innovative features. We did tests in high winds 50 km / h and more and our Leaf sail does not fly if these recommendations are followed. In strong wind conditions, we recommend that you do not deploy all telescopic leg segments but only the first two segments to avoid damaging the last segment of smaller diameter.

    Know that you can also use your Leaf to protect you from the wind by positioning it like a screen thanks to the 360 ​​° ball joint. You can lower the height of the sail (first and second deployed segments only) drop the end of the sail to the ground and anchor your foot in its anchor foot giving it a slope to compensate for the wind pressure on the sail and therefore by impact on the foot. Behind the sail, you will be completely sheltered.

    How to clean my Leaf?

    To clean your Leaf, simply wipe a cloth soaked in fresh water on your sail. Do not forget to let it dry before putting it back in its carrying bag. Do not use detergents, aggressive chemical agents of any kind. Stain removers are not recommended and can damage your sail. Consult us so that we can recommend cleaning products that we have already tested.

    How can I fold my Leaf umbrella ?

    To help you folding your Leaf, we have developed an innovative folding system. Under the umbrella, you will find some orange and green clips (male and female). To fold easily your Leaf, please read the following instructions :

    1. Keep your Leaf in its anchorage ground socket or its base
    2. Deploy telescopic pole
    3. Stand in front of your Leaf
    4. Find the green and orange clips under the Leaf
    5. Join secondly orange clips under the Leaf
    6. You can not make any mistake since the Leaf will adapt itself when joining clips of the same color; let the Leaf take progressively its folding shape
    7. Once clips joined, go back to the rear of your Leaf
    8. Undeploy the telescopic pole in order to get your Leaf at the heigh of your waste
    9. Put your arms on each side of your Leaf (right and left) with natural position and your hands positionned at the level of the divided fiber glass external armatures
    10. You will do the sole and last operation to fold your Leaf in a second
    11. Make a 8 in front of you : In order to do so, one of your hand should go under the Leaf and the other one should go upper the leaf surface; join at the top of the little circle armature
    12. Then, you can take back towards you the upper part of the 8 you just done (by simply pulling with you with one hand as the other one is keeping the 8 shape and the intersection
    13. Maintain the two parts of the 8 shape one on the other with one hand and take the black elastic sangle in order to block the whole
    14. That is it, you have successful folded your Leaf umbrella : a kid's game !

    Quelle est la hauteur du pied télescopique quand il est déplié
    La hauteur du pied télescopique est de 1,59 m une fois déplié en intégralité. Par ailleurs, la rotule multi-directionnelle permet de donner à la voile une inclinaison complémentaire qui permet de se tenir totalement debout sous la voile sans problème. En utilisant la pince CRAB sur une table, vous pouvez donc bénéficier d'une hauteur encore plus importante puisque vous ajouterez alors à la hauteur du parasol la hauteur de la table soit environ 80 cm de plus. Nos voiles d'ombrages nomades Leaf sont donc parfaitement adaptées à une utilisation sur des tables de jardin pour les déjeuners en famille.
